Stop the engine before checking or replacing the fuel pipes.

Check the condition of the fuel pipes and clamp bands

Apply oil to the screw of the band and tighten it securely

Replace worn out fuel pipes and clamp bands

Ensure engine has been idling unloaded for 5 minutes before stopping.

Verify engine and radiator have cooled for at least 30 minutes before proceeding.

Ensure radiator cap is not removed while coolant is hot.

Remove radiator cap and check coolant reaches supply port.

Check recovery tank coolant level is between 'FULL' and 'LOW' marks.

Is coolant level adequate for one day's work?

Open the evacuator valve to remove large particles of dust and dirt.

Wipe the inside of the air cleaner with a cloth if dirty or wet.

Avoid touching the element except when cleaning.

Ensure compressed air pressure is under 205 kPa (2.1 kgf/cm², 30 psi) when cleaning the element.

Blow compressed air from the inside of the element while turning it.

Replace the primary element if it is stained heavily or after 6 cleanings.

Replace the secondary element when replacing the primary element.

Set the water separator handle to the 'OFF' position

Loosen the bottom cock to let the foreign substances out of the separator

Set the water separator handle to the 'OFF' position

Loosen and remove the cup proper

Clean the inside of the cup proper with light oil

Stop the engine before checking and changing the engine oil and the oil filter cartridge.

Ensure the engine and exhaust components are cool before inspection.

Wear gloves to avoid skin contact with engine oil.

Is the engine stopped for more than 5 minutes before checking the oil level?

Remove the oil level gauge, wipe it clean, and reinstall it.

Take the oil level gauge out again and check the oil level.
