Check if the indicator in the monitor is lit

Refer to the operator's manual for more details if needed

Drain water or impurities from the switch assembly

Ensure to air-bleed the fuel system before restarting the engine

Stop the engine and remove the key

Reinstall the detached safety shield after maintenance or checking

Fan Belt Inspection and Replacement

Apply moderate thumb pressure to belt between the pulleys

Is the belt tension within acceptable limits?

Loosen the alternator mounting bolts if tension is incorrect

Use a lever to adjust the alternator position until belt deflection is correct

Install shields and safeguards attached to the engine

Ensure engine is stopped at a flat and wide space

Clear dust or fuel away from the battery, wiring, muffler, and engine

Describe parts which had trouble in previous operation

Open the evacuator valve to remove large particles of dust and dirt.

Wipe the inside of the air cleaner with a cloth if it is dirty or wet.

Avoid touching the element except when cleaning.

Measure the pressure of compressed air used for cleaning the element (must be under 205 kPa).

Blow compressed air from the inside while turning the element.

Open both drain plugs and the radiator cap simultaneously to drain coolant completely.

Remove the overflow pipe of the radiator pressure cap to drain the recovery tank.

Enter the prescribed coolant volume for D1803-CR-E5, D1803-CR-TE5, D1803-CR-TIE5 in U.S. gallons.

Check if the radiator cap is properly tightened and there is no gap between the cap and the seat.

Select the type of coolant used.
