Ensure the fuel filter differential pressure gauge is installed

Verify the engine is operating at rated speed and normal operating temperature

Record the fuel filter differential pressure

Enter the differential pressure threshold for service

Does the differential pressure exceed the threshold?

Open the drain valve at the bottom of the air tank

Allow moisture and sediment to drain completely

Ensure engine is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and equipment

Measure the current air/fuel ratio

Is the air/fuel ratio within the recommended range?

Adjust the carburetor to achieve the correct air/fuel ratio

Verify the air/fuel ratio after adjustment

Ensure the engine is stopped and cool before starting the procedure.

Loosen the cooling system pressure cap slowly to relieve pressure.

Remove the cooling system filler cap slowly.

Check if the coolant level is within 13 mm (0.5 inch) of the bottom of the filler pipe or at the proper level in the sight glass.

Clean the cooling system filler cap.

Check the condition of the filler cap gaskets.

Ensure engine and components have cooled before starting inspection

Inspect exhaust system components for the following conditions

Were any issues found during the inspection?

Describe any issues found during inspection

Check for excessive deposits in exhaust passages

Is there an increase in back pressure?
