Cleaning Materials and Guidelines

Ensure the following materials are used for cleaning

Avoid using chlorinated fluids beyond recommended guidelines.

Do not inject water directly into electrical components or bearings.

Ensure all electrical supplies are isolated before maintenance.

Ensure all compressed air supplies are isolated before maintenance.

Is it essential to work with power connected? If yes, ensure only qualified personnel proceed.

Disconnect signal cables to other machines before removing power.

Ensure earth wire or ribbon cable is not trapped when closing the enclosure lid.

Record the current air pressure setting.

Isolate the system from all electrical supplies before cleaning.

Isolate the system from all pneumatic energy sources before cleaning.

Are qualified personnel available if work must be done with power connected?

Disconnect signal cables to other machines before removing power.

Ensure head control panel cover fixing screws are tightened to 4Nm torque.

Ensure all cleaning materials are ready

Isolate the system from all electrical supplies.

Isolate the system from all pneumatic energy/power sources.

Ensure all signal cables to other machines are disconnected.

Ensure no part of the body is within the operating area of the reject device when power is applied.

Disassembly of ARL-60 Reject Valve

Release the TC-Clamp while supporting the Housing Cover.

Remove the Housing Cover with the ARL-60 shaft.

Withdraw the ARL-60 shaft from the Housing Cover.

Ensure all electrical supplies are isolated before cleaning.

Ensure all pneumatic energy sources are isolated before cleaning.

Verify that all compressed air supplies are isolated.

Ensure signal cables to other machines are disconnected before power disconnection.

Isolate the electrical and compressed air supplies.

Ensure any trapped air in the airlines is dumped.

Unscrew the two knurled locking screws.
