Park the lift truck level with the forks lowered

Lift the steer wheels off the ground

Place stands or blocking under the frame and steer axle to support the lift truck

Ensure engine coolant is not hot and under pressure before starting maintenance

Verify that the filter cap is cool enough to touch with bare hand

Ensure no contact with skin and eyes when handling cooling system conditioner

Turn the radiator cap slowly to relieve the pressure, then remove the cap

Open radiator drain valve and allow the coolant to drain

Park lift truck with the forks lowered, parking brake applied, transmission in neutral, engine stopped and cool

Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters

Remove fuel filter cartridge assembly

Apply a small amount of clean fuel to the filter cartridge gasket before installing a new cartridge assembly

Install the new fuel filter cartridge assembly

Loosen the supply module plug located on the inside of frame cover (RH)

Remove a battery under the supply module first

Remove the filter element from the supply module

Insert a new filter element and install the battery

Fasten with the supply module plug

Lubricate the steer axle kingpins

Lubricate the steering link bearings

Check for any worn or loose components of the steering mechanism

Remove any debris or trash from the steering mechanism
