Inspect the mast and lift chains for the following issues

Inspect the hydraulic system for the following issues

Transmission and Drive Axle Inspection

Look for transmission and drive axle leaks on the lift truck and on the ground

Operator's Compartment Inspection

Park lift truck with the forks lowered

Ensure engine is stopped and cool

Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery

Clean battery outer surfaces with a mixture of baking soda and water

Battery Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect battery outer surfaces for damage and replace as necessary

Repair battery cable if necessary

Replace battery cable if necessary

Loosen the supply module plug located on the inside of frame cover (RH)

Remove a battery under the supply module first

Remove the filter element from the supply module

Insert a new filter element and install the battery

Fasten with the supply module plug

Refer to the engine service manual for more details

Is the supply module plug securely fastened?

Park the lift truck with forks lowered, parking brake applied, transmission in neutral, and engine stopped

Raise rear of lift truck off the ground and block securely

Acknowledge hot oil and components warning

Acknowledge waste oil disposal notice

Oil Drain and Filter Replacement

Remove crankcase drain plug and allow oil to drain
