Acknowledge that no work other than that clearly indicated below is to be carried out on the boiler.

Enter the gas pressure reading from the boiler’s gas pressure gauge.

Is the gas pressure within the required range of 3 to 5 PSI?

Action if Pressure is Out of Range

If the gas pressure is not within the required range, did you shutdown the boiler as described in Section 8.3: Boiler Shutdown?

Record the water hardness level

Record the pH level of the water

Record the conductivity of the water

Is the water quality within the acceptable range?

Ensure no work other than indicated is carried out on the boiler

Verify that the safety valve is inspected regularly

Check for any signs of valve damage

Verify the safety valve’s release pressure matches the indicated value

Confirm no tampering with the pressure setting

Contact MIURA sales office or local dealer if leakage or abnormality is suspected

Conduct a full water test for all water types

Refer to your contract terms and conditions or Miura representative for the frequency for a full water test

Has the boiler cooled down sufficiently?

Have you received instructions from MIURA maintenance personnel?

Turn off the breaker for the boiler’s main power.
