Miura Steam Boiler LX-100

Startup the boiler as described in Section 8.1: Boiler Startup

Enter the steam pressure gauge reading

Is the steam pressure within the normal range?

Is the gauge pointer stable and not swinging wildly?

Shutdown the boiler immediately if steam pressure is not within the normal range

Contact MIURA sales office or local dealer for further instruction

Record the safety valve's release pressure

Is the safety valve's release pressure within the acceptable range?

Is there any sign of leakage or abnormality?

Contact MIURA sales office or local dealer if leakage or abnormality is suspected

Arrange for MIURA maintenance personnel to carry out safety-valve inspection

Record the water hardness level

Record the pH level of the water

Record the conductivity of the water

Is the water quality within the acceptable range?

Log any anomalies or issues found during the test

Confirm that the boiler has been shutdown.

Ensure the Status lamp is yellow and the display shows 'BOILER CHECK1'.

Press the 'DATA' button to clear the blowdown request on the display.

Turn off the breaker for the boiler’s main power.

Has the boiler cooled down sufficiently?

Setup a ladder and ensure safe foothold.

Is the ladder stable and secure?

Inspect the air filter for damage or extreme dirtiness.

Is the air filter damaged or extremely dirty?
