Park the machine on level ground and lower the bucket to the ground.

Open the engine access cover.

Check mark

Remove bolts, washers, and cover from the top of the hydraulic tank.

Check mark

Clean the area thoroughly to keep dirt out of the screen cover and filler cap.

Check mark

Relieve the hydraulic tank pressure by turning the cap slowly.

Remove the hydraulic tank access cover to access the drain valve.

Check mark

Remove plug and inspect the O-ring for wear or damage.

Check mark

Install swivel hose with clear plastic tubing and loosen drain plug to drain the oil.

Final Drive Oil Sample - Obtain

Position the final drive so that oil drain plug is at the bottom.

Remove oil level plug.

Obtain a sample of the final drive oil through the hole for the oil level plug.

Install oil level plug.

Swing Bearing - Lubricate

Wipe the fittings before lubricating the swing bearing.
