Ensure the machine is turned off and secured

Gather necessary tools and materials, including Chevron Ultra-duty grease, EP NLGI 1 or equivalent

Grease Turntable Rotation Bearing

Locate the grease fitting for the turntable rotate bearing

Pump grease into the turntable rotation bearing

Rotate the turntable in increments of 4 to 5 inches / 10 to 13 cm and repeat greasing until the entire bearing is covered

Select the gear type for greasing

Check the Turntable Rotation Gear Backlash - ALC1000 Models

Ensure the machine is fully stowed and the counterweight is at the square end of the machine

Ensure the machine is on a firm, level surface free of obstructions

Rotate the turntable until the boom is centered between the circle end wheels

Apply approximately 20 lbs / 89 N of side force to the platform

Measure the gap between the swing hub pinion gear and the turntable rotation bearing at the center tooth on one of the drive hubs

Select the model and check the gap tolerance

Check for leaks, damage or deterioration

Check for chafing or damage to electrical wiring

Check and adjust engine belts if necessary

Check and replace fuel filters if necessary

Clean, adjust, or replace spark plugs

Ensure axles are fully extended before starting the procedure

Wear Pad Measurement and Replacement

Measure the thickness of each wear pad (Top, side, and bottom)

Is any wear pad less than 0.437 inch/1.12 mm?

Replace any wear pad that is less than specification

Shim wear pads as necessary to obtain minimum clearance and no drag

Visual Inspection of the Hydraulic Oil

Check the oil level in the hydraulic tank

Inspect the oil for contamination or discoloration

Check that all hydraulic filters are in place

Inspect filters for any visible damage or wear

Record any issues found during maintenance
