Safety Valve Adjustment Procedure

Loosen the lock nut (M10, width across flats of 14 mm)

Adjust the pressure adjusting screw to desired control pressure length (width across flats of 7 mm)

Turn on the power to the hydraulic unit and establish setting mode

Select [n05] in monitor mode to display current motor rotation speed

Adjust the pressure adjusting screw length to find actuation start point

Turn the pressure adjusting screw clockwise three fourths of a turn from actuation start point

Turn the cap in the counterclockwise direction by hand and remove it.

Air blow the filter section to blow off deposits and adhering material.

Remove dirt from inside the strainer’s cylinder.

Fit the cap by turning in the clockwise direction by hand to the position where it stops.

Wear protective glasses when using air blow to avoid getting deposits and dirt in your eyes.

Wear protective glasses and gloves

Ensure power is OFF before starting

Use air blow cautiously to avoid foreign matter in eyes

Check for oil flow from piping during disassembly

Ensure no residual pressure in piping

Collect hydraulic oil in a separate oil receiver to prevent tank overflow

Switch display mode to monitor mode

Select motor speed indication [n05]

Loosen the lock nut of the throttle valve

Adjust the throttle valve while monitoring motor speed

Ensure the adjusting screw does not project beyond 19 mm

Tighten the lock nut to complete the adjustment

Switch to actual pressure indication

Confirm the throttle valve adjusting screw is secure
