Safety Precautions
Ensure the engine is stopped before checking and adjusting the rotating part.
Tighten the bracket bolt securely after adjusting the belt.
Ensure the belt is free of oil and grease.
Preparation
Park the lift truck on a level surface.
Lower the forks.
Apply the parking brake.
Set the transmission in NEUTRAL.
Initial 1 Month Engine Filter Replacement
WARNING! Hot oil and components could cause serious injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Preparation
Operate the lift truck a few minutes to warm the oil.
Park the lift truck
Filter Replacement
Raise the hood.
Remove and discard the oil filter element.
Wipe the sealing surface of the oil filter element mounting base.
Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the oil filter element gasket.

Safety Precautions
Ensure the engine is cold before removing the radiator cap.
Muffle the radiator cap in a thick cloth and turn it slowly to release all pressure before removing.
Ensure the lift truck is level, forks lowered, parking brake applied, transmission in NEUTRAL, engine stopped, and wheels blocked.
Coolant Level Check
Raise the hood.
Check that the coolant level is between the FULL and LOW marks on the reserve tank.
Adding Coolant
Ensure no fire is near undiluted antifreeze.
