Loosen the radiator cover retaining knob and remove the radiator cover.
Turn the radiator filler cap slowly to relieve pressure and remove it.

Safety Precautions
Ensure no fuel is leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components.
Clean up any spillage of fuel.
Know the location of all emergency devices and how to use them.
Disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters.

Filter Removal
Raise the hood.
Remove the battery and tank cover.
Remove the hose.
Remove the gasket and strainer.
Remove the gasket and return oil filter. Discard the filter element.

Clean the top of the battery before removing the filler caps
Remove the filler caps
Add distilled water to the cells if the electrolyte level is low
Tighten the caps securely after adding water

Was any acid contact with eyes? If yes, flush with water and see a doctor immediately
Battery Specific Gravity Check
Check the specific gravity of the battery cells using a battery hydrometer
