Does the mast move up and down smoothly when you operate the lift control lever?

Does the mast tilt forward and back smoothly when you operate the tilt control lever?

Are there any oil leaks from the cylinders and hydraulic lines?

Are the stoppers properly engaged?

Inspect the forks for the following issues

Ensure the lift truck is parked on a level surface with forks lowered, parking brake applied, transmission in NEUTRAL, engine stopped, and wheels blocked.

Confirm no hot oil or components will contact your skin.

Remove the drain plug and allow the oil to drain.

Remove the cover, the O-ring seal, and the strainer.

Wash the strainer and the plug in clean, nonflammable solvent.

Ensure the engine is stopped and the filler cap is cool enough to remove with your bare hand.

Remove the filler cap slowly to relieve pressure.

Park the lift truck with forks lowered, parking brake applied, transmission in NEUTRAL, engine stopped, and wheels blocked.

Operate the lift truck to warm the oil.

Park the lift truck with forks lowered, parking brake applied, transmission in NEUTRAL, and engine stopped.

Remove the hydraulic tank drain plug and allow the oil to drain.

Ensure oil and components are cool before starting the procedure.

Remove hydraulic tank filler cap slowly to relieve pressure.

Operate the lift truck for a few minutes to warm the oil.

Park the lift truck on a level surface with forks lowered and mast tilted back.

Apply parking brake, set transmission to NEUTRAL, stop engine, and block wheels.

Remove the hydraulic tank filler cap by turning it counterclockwise.

Park the lift truck with the forks lowered on a level surface, parking brake applied, transmission in NEUTRAL, engine stopped and the wheels blocked.

Remove the battery and tank cover.

Remove the gasket and strainer.

Remove the gasket and return oil filter. Discard the filter element.
