Ensure the brake fluid in the reservoir is not decreasing rapidly

Verify the brake system is not leaking

Park the lift truck with forks lowered, parking brake applied, transmission in NEUTRAL, engine stopped, and wheels blocked

Check the brake fluid level at the reservoir

Is the brake fluid level between the MAX and MIN marks on the reservoir?

Clean the ports before refilling the reservoirs

Ensure no fuel is leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components.

Know the location of all emergency devices and how to use them.

Disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters.

Ensure the engine is stopped and cool.

Park the lift truck in an authorized refueling area.

Ensure the following conditions are met before starting the procedure.

Ensure no contact with hot oil or components

Operate the lift truck to warm the oil

Park the lift truck on a level surface

Have repairs been made properly?

Check the daily inspection sheet

Check for oil, fuel or coolant leaks on the floor

Are all the lights in safe working condition?

Are the lenses clean and not defective?

Do the tail and head lights come ON properly when switched on?

Ensure oil and components are cool before starting

Remove hydraulic tank filler cap slowly

Operate the lift truck to warm the oil

Park the lift truck on a level surface with forks lowered and mast tilted back

Apply parking brake, set transmission to NEUTRAL, stop engine, and block wheels

Remove the hydraulic tank filler cap by turning it counterclockwise
