3 Monthly Turntable Level Sensor Test
Preparation
Ensure the machine is on a firm surface with a side slope greater than 2° but less than 5°
Ensure the digital level is calibrated to gravity
Turn the key switch to ground control and pull out the red Emergency Stop button to the on position at both ground and platform controls
Test Turntable Level Sensor - Z-135/70, ZX-135/70, SX-105 XC, SX-125 XC, SX-135 XC, SX-150 and SX-180
Place the digital level on the X axis of the turntable
Is the reading at the display and digital level within ± 1° of each other?
If not, calibrate the level sensor as per the Service and Repair Manual
Place the machine on a firm surface with an uphill or downhill slope greater than 2° but less than 5°
2000 Hourly / 3 Monthly Hydraulic Oil Maintenance
Visual Inspection of Hydraulic Oil
Visually inspect the hydraulic oil for the following
Oil Testing and Replacement
Did the hydraulic oil pass all visual inspections?
If the oil failed any inspection, was it tested by an oil distributor?
Was the hydraulic oil replaced?
Post Replacement Actions
Replace all hydraulic filters when replacing the hydraulic oil
Continue with scheduled quarterly maintenance inspection after oil replacement
3 Monthly Safety Envelope Limit Switch Test
- Test the Safety Envelope Limit Switches, Z-135/70, ZX-135/70, SX-105 XC, SX-125 XC, SX-135 XC, SX-150 and SX-180 Models
Testing the machine envelope safety limit switches is critical to safe machine operation. If the boom is allowed to operate when a safety switch is not functioning correctly, the machine stability could be compromised and may tip over
Note: Perform this procedure with the boom in the stowed position
Note: Perform this procedure with the axles extended
Note: Two people will be required to perform this procedure
Note: Use the following chart to identify the description of each LCD screen control button used in this procedure
Z-135/70 and ZX-135/70 Models:
Secondary Boom #1 Retracted Safety Limit Switch, LSS1RS
1. Working at the platform end of the turntable, support and secure the lower turntable riser end cover to a suitable lifting device

Verify applicable models
Preparation
Ensure the machine is on a firm, level surface with axles extended
Ensure all weight, tools, equipment, and personnel are removed from the platform
Initial Setup
Turn the key switch to the ground control and pull out the red Emergency Stop button to the on position
Start the engine
