Ensure the platform is fully lowered

Inspect the lubricator canister for the proper oil level

Is the oil level within 1/2 inch / 12.7 mm from the top of the lubricator canister?

Remove the oil lubricator canister from the lubricator base

Install the canister back onto the lubricator base

Inspect the oil lubricator sight gauge while raising the platform

Is the oil drip rate within the acceptable range (1 to 2 drops)?

Adjust the oil flow control valve if necessary

Repeat the inspection and adjustment until the proper oil drip rate is achieved

Describe any issues encountered during the procedure

Ensure the platform is fully lowered

Check the sight gauge on the side of the hydraulic reservoir

Is the hydraulic oil level within the acceptable range?

Describe any issues observed during the inspection

Remove all rings, watches, and other jewelry

Put on protective clothing and eye wear

Is the battery acid level adequate?

Replenish with distilled water to the bottom of the battery fill tube if needed

Open the battery pack lid to access the battery.

Is the battery acid level sufficient to cover the plates?

Add distilled water if necessary, ensuring not to overfill prior to the charge cycle.

Ensure the DC output cord is properly connected to the battery

Connect the battery charger to a grounded AC circuit.
