Close any OEM fuel valves (if applicable) to prevent fuel from draining.

Clean the area around the fuel filter head.

Drain the fuel into a container and dispose in accordance with local environmental regulations.

Measure the chain length where it moves over sheaves

Is the chain section 3% longer than a new chain section?

Use a chain scale (Yale P/N 518098689) to check lift chains

Close the shutoff valve on the tank and run the engine until it stops

Disconnect the hose from the inlet fitting

Remove the inlet fitting from the LPG regulator and discard the O-ring

Remove and discard the plastic cap, foam filter, paper filter, and rubber washer from the LPG regulator

Disconnect the hose from the outlet fitting

Remove three screws and the outlet fitting from the LPG regulator and discard the O-ring

Remove and discard the screen from the LPG regulator

Ensure carriage removal from mast is recommended for inspection access

Ensure attachment removal for access to carriage

Inspect welded joints on carriage

Clean the area to be inspected following manufacturer's instructions

Apply dye penetrant following manufacturer's instructions

Ensure oil is not contaminated before use

Avoid contact with hot oil to prevent burns

Prevent dirt from entering the transmission or wet brake planetary carrier housing

Dispose of lubricants and fluids according to local environmental regulations

Follow safety procedures when using cleaning solvents

Wear protective goggles or face shield when using compressed air

Change the transmission oil filter at the first 500 hours of operation on new lift trucks
