Wipe off the fittings before any lubricant is applied

Open the access door on the right side of the machine

Apply lubricant through two remote fittings

Apply lubricant through the fittings on the rod ends of both steering cylinders

Verify the total number of fittings lubricated

Remove the drain plugs and attach a hose to a suitable drain adapter.

Install a drain adapter into each drain valve and allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.

Remove the drain adapters from the drain valves.

Clean the drain plugs and install the drain plugs.

Wipe off the dipstick/fill plugs and the surfaces around them.

Remove the dipstick/fill plugs and add 0.5 L (0.5 qt) of 1U-9891 Hydraulic Oil Additive to each axle.

Fill the axles with oil according to the Operation and Maintenance Manual.

Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface

Gather necessary equipment: vacuum pump or equivalent

Refer to SEBU6250 for fluid sampling recommendations

Identify the filler openings on the right side of each axle

Use vacuum pump to withdraw fluid from the differential and final drive through the filler opening

Seal the sample container properly

Ensure fluids are contained during inspection and maintenance.

Prepare suitable containers to collect fluids before opening compartments.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Open the crankcase drain valve and allow oil to drain into a suitable container.

Close the crankcase drain valve.

Remove oil filter using a strap-type wrench and inspect the oil filter.

Open the battery compartment on the left rear side of the machine

Clean the battery terminals with a clean cloth

Clean the surfaces of the batteries with a clean cloth

Coat the battery terminals with petroleum jelly

Are the battery cables installed securely?
