Operator Restraint System Check

Check that all parts are in place and in good condition

Ensure seat belt is fastened correctly and functions properly

Inspect seat belt for damage or wear

Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) Operation Check

Pull seat belt slowly from retractor with hood closed and locked. Ensure smooth operation

Pull seat belt with a sudden jerk with hood closed and locked. Ensure locking mechanism activates

Check seat belt with hood open. Ensure it does not pull from retractor

Seat Adjustment - Full Suspension

Ensure the engine is turned off and cooled down

Gather necessary tools and replacement spark plugs

Remove old spark plugs from the engine

Verify the spark plug gap is 1.5 mm (0.059 in.) for each new spark plug

Install new spark plugs into the engine

Is the engine running smoothly after replacement?

CUMMINS 4.5L AND QSB 3.3L ENGINE Controlled Venting

Ensure the starting motor is not engaged for more than 30 seconds

Wait two minutes before re-engaging the starter if necessary

Verify that the fuel filter element is changed and filled prior to installation

Check if manual bleeding is required due to any of the following conditions

Fork Removal and Installation Guidelines

Confirm that only trained personnel are involved in the removal or installation of forks.

Lower fork onto blocks so the bottom hook moves through the fork removal notch.

Lower the carriage further to disengage the top hook from the top carriage bar.

Use a lifting device to move the fork away from the carriage.

Lift the lock pin and slide a hook fork to the fork removal notch on the carriage.

Inspect forks for cracks and wear.

Check for cracks, wear, and damage

Is there any damage that requires repair?

Lubricate sliding surfaces at grease fittings with multipurpose grease

Refer to Mast Repairs, 2- and 3-Stage Masts 4000 YRM 1250 for repair procedures if damage is found
