Remove the center body fill/level plug to allow faster oil drainage.

Place an empty container under the center body drain plug.

Remove the center body drain plug and wait until oil has drained completely.

Install drain plug for the center body and tighten to 30 to 50 N•m (22 to 37 lbf ft).

Is the truck parked and on level ground before adding oil?

Add oil at the fill/level port for the center body until overflow occurs.

Install oil fill/level plug and tighten to 30 to 50 N•m (22 to 37 lbf ft).

Check for cracks, wear, and damage

Is there any damage that requires repair?

Lubricate sliding surfaces at grease fittings with multipurpose grease

Refer to Mast Repairs, 2- and 3-Stage Masts 4000 YRM 1250 for repair procedures if damage is found

Transmission Control Levers Check

Verify transmission control levers operate as per Operating Manual

Mast and Attachment Control Levers Check

Verify mast and attachment control levers operate as per Operating Manual

Verify pedals operate correctly as per Operating Manual

Ensure lift truck components are cool before starting inspection and cleaning.

Allow truck engine to idle for several minutes to cool properly.

Radiator and Engine Component Check

Check and clean the radiator and radiator screen, if equipped.

Check for paper scraps and clean as required

Check and clean components to avoid paper, dust, and oil accumulation

Check axle and cowl openings for paper buildup and bailing wire

Ensure hydraulic oil is not hot before starting the procedure.

Ensure no dirt enters the hydraulic system during the procedure.

Ensure hydraulic pump is not operated without oil.

Ensure disposal of lubricants and fluids meets local environmental regulations.

Place a container with a minimum capacity of 39.4 liters under the drain plug.
