Chamber Cleaning
Safety Precautions
Disconnect the chamber from the power supply before cleaning.
Disconnect the power plug.
Wear protective gloves and goggles.
Ensure no water or cleaning agents are spilled over the inner and outer surfaces.
Cleaning Procedure
Select the cleaning agents for the surfaces
Wipe the surfaces with a moistened towel.
Completely remove cleaning agents from the surfaces with a moistened towel.
Chamber Temperature Safety Device Check
Pre-Check Guidelines
Observe guideline BGI/GUV-I 850-0 on safe working in laboratories.
Safety Device Class 2 Check
Turn the control knob (7) counter-clockwise until the chamber turns off.
Did the indicator lamp (7a) light up and the buzzer sound?
Press the reset button (7b) to release the safety device.
Turn on the chamber as described.
Safety Device Class 3.1 Check
Turn the control knob (7) to its end-stop (position 10) for chamber protection.
1 Yearly Chamber Maintenance
DANGER - Electrical hazard. Danger of death.
Safety Precautions
Ensure the unit does NOT become wet during operation or maintenance work.
Do NOT remove the rear panel of the unit.
Disconnect the unit before conducting maintenance work.
Disconnect the power plug.
Ensure all maintenance work is conducted by licensed electricians or experts authorized by BINDER.
