Ensure the following tools are available

Refer to Figure 13 for guidance

Remove screw plug from pressure tap

Connect a pressure gauge to the burner orifice pressure tap and record the pressure

Start tumble dryer and observe pressure once flame is burning

Adjust regulator screw to achieve the specified burner orifice pressure

Check for visible signs of deterioration on hoses

Is there any visible sign of deterioration on the hoses?

Replacement of Deteriorated Hoses

Replace any hose showing signs of deterioration

Describe any issues found during inspection

Ensure the dryer is used for drying water washed fabrics only.

Confirm no articles containing foam rubber, plastic, or rubber-like materials are in the dryer.

Ensure no articles soiled with cooking oil are in the dryer.

Ensure no articles soiled with flammable liquids or cleaning solvents are in the dryer.

Remove debris from the lint screen filter.

Clean inside of the lint filter compartment.

Ensure the lint filter is cleaned daily.

Inform the fire department about the upcoming maintenance test

Disconnect auxiliary output if it activates a building sprinkler

Verify the connection to the auxiliary output through the H-4 header connection inside the fire suppression control box

Check the relay rating (should be 5 Amp, 250VAC max)

Is the auxiliary output functioning correctly during the test?

Reconnect auxiliary output if it was disconnected

Affix appropriate country/gas category label if required

Gas Supply Pressure Verification

Enter the current gas supply pressure

Is the gas supply pressure within the acceptable range?

Manifold Pressure Verification and Adjustment

Enter the current manifold pressure

Is the manifold pressure within the acceptable range?

Adjust the gas valve governor/regulator as necessary
