Is the pump left in its position and only the motor moved?

Align pump-motor unit in all directions

For motors fixed directly to the base, loosen the bolts of the motor feet

For motors fixed on an adjustable plate, loosen the bolts securing the motor plate to the respective threaded columns

Verify the following conditions before proceeding

Record the current bearing temperature

Is the bearing temperature within safe limits for explosive environments?

Change the oil using the specified lubricant

Describe any unusual observations during the oil change

Ensure the following pre-start conditions are met

Is the suction pipe filled and foot valve working properly?

Verify motor and pump conditions

Ensure auxiliary connections are working

Is the oil level adequate for pumps with oil lubricated bearing bracket?

Ensure operating and functional parameters of the mechanical seal are followed

Ensure all safety devices of the pump are enabled

Ensure the pump is stored correctly

Verify protection caps and lids of the flanges are on the pump

Is the pump stored for a long period or in severe conditions?

If stored for a long period or in severe conditions, ensure additional precautions are taken
