Gas Supply Pressure Verification

Enter the current gas supply pressure

Is the gas supply pressure within the acceptable range?

Manifold Pressure Verification and Adjustment

Enter the current manifold pressure

Is the manifold pressure within the acceptable range?

Adjust manifold pressure as necessary following the gas valve governor/regulator adjustment guidelines

Affix the appropriate country/gas category label over the main serial plate designations if required

Pressure Verification and Adjustment

Enter the current gas supply pressure

Is the gas supply pressure within the acceptable range?

Adjust the gas supply pressure if necessary

Refer to Figure 12 for guidance

Technician's signature to confirm completion

Check hoses for visible signs of deterioration

Is there any hose that needs replacement?

Replace any hose showing signs of deterioration

Ensure all replaced hoses are properly installed

Remove screw plug from pressure tap

Connect a “U”-tube manometer (or similar pressure gauge) to the burner orifice (manifold) pressure tap

Start tumble dryer and note pressure once flame is burning

Adjust regulator screw until the burner orifice pressure per applicable table is achieved

Inform the fire department about the upcoming test if the auxiliary output is connected to notify them.

Disconnect the auxiliary output if it is connected to activate a building sprinkler system.

Activate the fire suppression system and check if the auxiliary output contact is functioning as expected.

Verify the auxiliary output functions

Reconnect the auxiliary output if it was disconnected prior to the test.

Inform the fire department that the test is complete if they were notified before the test.
