Verify the following conditions before proceeding

Record the current bearing temperature

Is the bearing temperature within the safe range?

Notes on any temperature fluctuations observed during the procedure

9.4.1 Filling the oiler (if supplied)

Release the bowl so that it returns to vertical position

Top up the bowl if the oil level is too low

Ensure the bearing bracket is not filled with oil through the connection in the oiler

Check alignment before commissioning or after maintenance

Ensure motor is stopped and in safety before checking alignment

Leave pump in position and only move the motor?

Align pump-motor unit in all directions

For motors fixed directly to the base, loosen the bolts of the motor feet

For motors fixed on an adjustable plate, loosen the bolts securing the motor plate to the respective threaded columns

Verify the bearing bracket temperature is between 70°C and 80°C

Monitor the bearing temperature for pumps in explosive environments

Caution: Ensure no excessive increase in temperature

Describe the maintenance interval based on the working point of the pump

Is the pump unit kept in perfect technical condition?

Bearing bracket (Code 330) checks

Is the alignment of the elastic coupling between pump and motor correct?

Volute casing (Code 102) / Stuffing box housing (Code 451) checks
