9.4 Oil change
Verify the following conditions before proceeding
Record the current bearing temperature
Is the bearing temperature within the safe range?
Perform the oil change
Notes on any temperature fluctuations observed during the procedure
Oiler Lubrication
9.4.1 Filling the oiler (if supplied)
Tilt the oiler bowl (638)
Fill the oiler bowl with oil
Release the bowl so that it returns to vertical position
Is the oil level too low?
Top up the bowl if the oil level is too low
Ensure the bearing bracket is not filled with oil through the connection in the oiler
