Ensure the engine is stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes when handling cooling system conditioner.

Stop the engine and allow the cooling system to completely cool.

Remove the cap for expansion tank (1).

Loosen band clamp that holds breather

Tighten band clamp around new breather

Check that the new breather is securely installed

Ensure there are no leaks around the breather

Ensure the engine is stopped before checking the oil level.

Park the machine on a level surface.

Close the engine compartment if the oil level is correct.

Remove dipstick and wipe with a clean cloth.

Insert and remove the dipstick to check the oil level.

Ensure the machine is in a warm shop area (18° to 21°C / 65° to 70°F)

Measure the current tire pressure

Enter the recommended tire pressure for warm conditions

Is the current tire pressure equal to the recommended pressure?

Adjust the tire pressure to match the recommended pressure if necessary

Will the machine be operated in freezing temperatures?

Inspect the belts for wear and cracking

Adjust the belt tension to minimize slippage

Recheck the belt adjustment after 30 minutes of operation

Replace belts in sets if multiple belts are required

Is only one belt of a matched set replaced?
