250 Hourly / 6 Monthly Vibratory Support Oil Level Check
Preparation
Ensure the machine is turned off and secured
Locate the vibratory support on the right side of the drum
Oil Level Check
Locate the level check plug at the three o'clock position
Remove level check plug (1)
Check the level of the oil at the bottom of the level check plug opening
Is the oil level at the bottom of the level check plug opening?
Oil Refill
10 Hourly / 1 Daily Backup Alarm Test
Preparation
Ensure the backup alarm is located at the rear of the machine
Turn the engine start switch to the ON position
Testing the Backup Alarm
Move the propel control lever to the REVERSE position
Did the backup alarm start to sound immediately?
Post-Test Actions
Move the transmission control lever to the STOP position or to the FORWARD position
Did the backup alarm stop sounding?
250 Hourly / 6 Monthly Final Drive Planetary (Drum) Oil Check
The final drive planetary is on the left side of the drum.
Oil Level Check
Remove level check plug (2).
Check the level of the oil in the planetary.
Is the oil level at the bottom of the opening for level check plug (2)?
Oil Addition
Is the oil level low?
Remove filler plug (1).
Add oil to maintain the oil level.
Initial 250 Hours / 6 Months Final Drive Planetary Oil Change
Preparation
Position one final drive so that the oil fill/drain plug is at the bottom
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, 'General Hazard Information' for information on Containing Fluid Spillage
Oil Drain and Inspection
Remove the oil fill/drain plug and allow the oil to drain into a suitable container
Clean the plug and inspect the O-ring seal for wear or damage
Replace the oil fill/drain plug and/or the O-ring seal if wear or damage is evident
Oil Refill
Install the oil fill/drain plug
10 Hourly / 1 Daily Engine Air Filter Service Indicator Inspection
Open the engine compartment
Start the engine and run at high idle
Check if the yellow piston enters the red zone
Service the air cleaner if the piston is in the red zone
Reset the engine air filter service indicator
Close the engine compartment
