Drive the pallet truck and check the braking action by tilting the tiller to the upper area and the lower area.

Note any anomalies in the steering mechanism.

Check the reduction gear belt for wear and proper tension.

Inspect hydraulic system for leaks.

Inspection and Maintenance after First 50 Hours of Service

Drive the pallet truck and check the braking action by tilting the tiller to the upper and lower areas.

Note any anomalies in the steering mechanism and contact local representative if necessary.

Raise the truck and check the tightness of the nuts on the driven wheel (80 Nm torque).

Check the tightness of the mounting bolts on the load wheels (50 Nm torque).

Check the free rotation of the wheels and remove any interfering objects.

Replace any worn or damaged wheels.

Wear gloves and goggles during battery work

Ensure the area is well-ventilated

Ensure no sparks, flames, or smoking near the battery

Stop the machine, switch off and remove the key

Locate the battery plug on the right-hand side of the machine

Pull on the handle to disconnect the plug

Checking electrolyte level and topping up with water

Turn off the key-switch, open the cover, and disconnect the battery connector.

Check the electrolyte level in each cell.

Is the electrolyte level up to the base of the filler plug?

Use demineralised water to top up any cells with a low water level.

Checking the specific gravity of the electrolyte

Measure the specific gravity of each cell using an acid hydrometer.

Record the specific gravity values in the service booklet.
