Park the vehicle on a level surface.

Check around the engine for mud or foreign materials.

Remove all foreign materials if they are found.

WARNING: To avoid serious injury: Be sure to stop the engine before changing the oil. Allow engine to cool down sufficiently, oil can be hot and can burn.

Cargo bed raised and safety support mounted

Drain plug at the bottom of the transmission case removed

Used oil drained completely into the oil pan

Drain plug reinstalled after draining

Amount of new prescribed oil filled

Refer to the first table of 'LUBRICANTS, FUEL AND COOLANT' in 'MAINTENANCE' section for prescribed oil type

Vehicle parked on a flat surface?

Cargo bed raised and safety support mounted?

Hose clamps loose or water leaks?

Radiator hoses swollen, hardened or cracked?

Hoses and hose clamps replaced every 2 years or earlier if necessary?

Warning: Only use KUBOTA genuine parts for replacement

Disconnect the negative cable of the battery

Open the seats and remove the utility box and maintenance cover

Insert a new slow-blow fuse into the slow-blow fuse box

Install the slow-blow fuse box cover and the maintenance cover

Connect the negative battery cable

Sign off on the fuse replacement

WARNING: To avoid serious injury: Be sure to stop the engine before checking belt tension.

Moderate thumb pressure applied to belt between pulleys

Alternator mounting bolts loosened if tension is incorrect

Lever placed between the alternator and the engine block
