Warning: This procedure should be performed by trained personnel only.

Oil filter cartridge removed with supplied filter wrench

O-ring of new oil filter cartridge lightly oiled

Oil filter cartridge hand tightened

Engine oil filled to specified level

Engine run for approx. 5 min without engine oil indicator lamp lighting up

Oil level checked after filter exchange

Warning: Ensure the machine is turned off and secured before starting the procedure

Grease applied through the central fitting?

Grease applied at each 90 (1.58 rad.) position of the swing frame?

Number of shots applied at every position

Sign off on the greasing procedure

WARNING: To avoid personal injury or death, wait for the hydraulic fluid to cool down before replacing the element.

Gradually loosen the oil filling plug on the tank to release the pressure in the hydraulic system.

Remove the pilot filter case from the head cover.

Wrench and pull out the element downward.

Replace the O-ring with a new one.

Apply a light coating of clean hydraulic oil to the O-ring and fit it to the case firmly. Be careful not to scratch the O-ring.

Fit the case to the head cover.

Let the engine run for approx. 3 minutes.

WARNING: To avoid personal injury or death, do not touch the coolant hoses or the heater with your hand. You may get burned.

All lines and hose clamps are tight and not damaged

Are hoses and clamps worn or damaged?

If hoses and clamps are found worn or damaged, replace or repair them at once. (Consult your local KUBOTA dealer for this service.)

Sign off on the air conditioner pipes and hoses check

WARNING: To avoid personal injury or death, keep fire away.

Filter removed with the filter wrench

Light film of fuel applied to the seal of the new filter

New filter turned in tightly by hand

Shutoff-valve of the fuel filter opened again

IMPORTANT: After exchange of the filter, the fuel system must be purged of air.
