Remove the 2 earth/ground screws

Check for ferrite core on the earth/ground harness

Unfasten the 2 hooks and remove the PCB

Ensure the 2 projections are fitted to the PCB during reassembly

Waited for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies?

Ensured no risk of burns from heated pipes and parts?

Ventilated the room in case of refrigerant gas leak?

Checked for toxic gas generation risk if refrigerant gas is exposed to flames?

Collected all refrigerant gas to prevent atmospheric discharge?

Restored piping by non-oxidation brazing?

Waited for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies?

Remove the screws on the terminal board

Remove screws on right side panel and partition plate

Lift up the terminal board mounting plate from the right side panel

Ensure all power supplies are turned off and wait for 10 minutes before starting disassembly

Remove the nut and then the outdoor fan

Disconnect the connector [S70] or [S71] depending on the model

Cut the clamp and release the fan motor lead wire from the groove

Remove the screw and then the fan motor fixing frame

Unfasten the 2 hooks on the fan motor fixing frame and release the fan motor lead wire

Remove the 3 screws and then the fan motor

Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before disassembling

Avoid burns from heated pipes and parts

Ventilate the room if refrigerant gas leaks

Avoid exposing refrigerant gas to flames to prevent toxic gas generation

Prepare wet cloth to extinguish fire if refrigerant oil catches fire

Do not discharge refrigerant gas into the atmosphere
