1 Monthly Heat Exchanger Check
Indoor Storage Precautions
Is the heat exchanger stored in a room with temperature between 15 and 20°C (60–70°F) and humidity up to 70%?
Is there any ozone-producing equipment in the room?
Are there any organic solvents or acids stored in the room?
Is the heat exchanger protected from direct sunlight, intensive heat radiation, or ultraviolet radiation?
Are the tightening bolts covered with a thin layer of grease?
Outdoor Storage Precautions
Have all indoor storage precautions been followed?
Is the packing restored to its original condition after checking?
1 Yearly Heat Exchanger Check
Preparation
Is the heat exchanger in position?
Follow the installation instructions if the heat exchanger is not in position.
Measurement and Opening
Note the measurement between frame plate and pressure plate (A dimension).
Remove the feet attached to the pressure plate.
Loosen the tightening bolts following the instructions in Opening on page 33.
Open the heat exchanger until the plate pack measure is 1.25×A.

Regasketing
Perform regasketing if required
Regular Maintenance Tasks
Keep the carrying bar and guiding bar clean and greased
Keep the tightening bolts cleaned and greased
Check if all the tightening bolts are firmly tightened
Record the dimension A as per the PHE drawing
Gasket Change
Pre-removal Checks
Check how the old gaskets are attached before removal.
Clip-on / ClipGrip Gasket Replacement
Check warranty conditions before opening the heat exchanger.
Open the heat exchanger and remove the plate for regasketing.
Remove the old gasket.
Ensure all sealing surfaces are dry, clean, and free of foreign matter.
Check and remove rubber residual from the gasket area.
Attach the new gasket to the plate, ensuring tabs are under the edge.
Pressure Test

Is the person performing the test authorized according to local laws and regulations?
Is the testing equipment compliant with applicable standards?
Pre-Test Preparation
Ensure all plates or gaskets have been properly installed or exchanged.
Verify that the heat exchanger is ready for a hydrostatic leakage test.
Hydrostatic Leakage Test
Enter the operating pressure of the unit.
Calculate the test pressure (Operating Pressure + 10%).
