Is the vehicle on level ground?

Wait a few minutes for the oil to drain back into the engine after turning it off.

Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a rag.

Pull the dipstick out again and check the oil level.

Select the engine type for oil quantity reference.

Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the lights are cool before starting.

Handle halogen bulbs carefully, holding only by the plastic or metal case.

Turn the bulb base counterclockwise to the front of the vehicle.

Pull the bulb out of the bulb base, wiggling if necessary.

Install the new bulb by turning the bulb base clockwise to the front of the vehicle.

Is aiming adjustment necessary?

Check for treadwear indicators in the tire tread

Is the tread depth 1.6 mm (0.06 in.) or less?

Is the tread depth below 4 mm (0.16 in.) for snow tires?

Inspect tires for cuts, splits, or cracks exposing fabric

Check for bulges indicating internal damage

Is there frequent air loss or irreparable damage?

Open the glove box and push in each side to release the stoppers

Filter Inspection and Replacement

Pull the filter out of the filter outlet

Inspect the filter surface for dirt

Is the filter dirty and needs replacement?

Insert the new filter with the arrow pointing up

Have you hosed off the undercarriage this month?

Use high pressure water or steam to clean the vehicle’s underside and wheel housings.

Check and clear drain holes on the lower edge of doors, rocker panels, and frame members.

Wash the underside of the vehicle thoroughly after winter.

Wash your vehicle as soon as possible if exposed to any of the following conditions
