Place a small tray under the drain plug or drain hose to catch the water

Turn the drain plug about 2–2½ turns

Operate the priming pump until fuel begins to run out

Retighten the drain plug by hand

Ensure the vehicle has been parked for at least 3 hours and has not been driven for more than 1.5 km or 1 mile.

Gather necessary tools: tire pressure gauge and replacement valve caps if needed.

Measure the tire pressure of the front left tire.

Measure the tire pressure of the front right tire.

Measure the tire pressure of the rear left tire.

Measure the tire pressure of the rear right tire.

Measure the tire pressure of the spare tire.

Do the tires need replacement based on treadwear indicators?

Do any tires need replacement due to damage?

Is there frequent air loss or irreparable damage?

Are any tires over 6 years old?

Prepare a 5% solution of neutral detergent for wool

Ensure availability of soft clean cloths

Remove dirt using a soft cloth dampened with the detergent solution

Thoroughly wipe off all traces of detergent with a clean damp cloth

Dry the leather with a soft clean cloth

Allow the leather to dry in a ventilated shaded area

Turn off the engine switch and inoperative component

Identify non-working components

Locate the fuse box using the guide on page 237

Use the pull-out tool to remove the suspected fuse

Replace the blown fuse with a new one of the same amperage rating
