What’s New at MaintainX: March 2026

Industrial teams are collecting more data than ever, but making it useful is the hard part.

This month, we’re helping customers unlock deeper insights, standardize across sites, and connect data to MaintainX faster.

From new reporting capabilities to AI-powered tools for connecting your data, here’s what’s new in MaintainX for March 2026.

Track performance across all sites with Global Report Builder

Operations leaders need visibility across their facilities to find ways to drive efficiencies.

With Global Report Builder, you can access all your sub-organization data and build customer reports directly within your global organization. That means you can compare performance, analyze trends, and drill into single or multi-site data, all from a single view.

Global Report Builder provides:

  • Cross-site performance reporting in one dashboard
  • The ability to filter by organization to compare facilities side-by-side
  • Enterprise-wide insights into work orders, parts usage, labor utilization, and more

Instead of exporting data into third-party tools and stitching reports together manually, you can build and customize reports directly inside MaintainX.

For multi-site operations focused on standardization and continuous improvement, this makes it easier to spot trends, identify outliers, and scale best practices across the enterprise.

Global Report Builder is available on the Enterprise plan for Global Organizations.

Publish Global Procedures in bulk to standardize faster

Rolling out standardized procedures across multiple sites just got easier.

With Bulk Publish for Global Procedures, Global Leaders can now publish—or unpublish—multiple procedures to multiple sub-organizations at once.

Why it matters:

  • Launch new procedures across new sites in minutes
  • Gradually roll out updated SOPs across the organization
  • Remove procedures from specific sites in just a few clicks
  • Automatically include nested procedures when publishing

For organizations scaling across regions or standardizing compliance processes, this feature reduces administrative overhead and accelerates adoption of best practices.

Global Procedures is available on our Enterprise plan.

Connect machine data faster with AI-powered tag mapping

Using real-time machine data to drive maintenance helps you prevent failures and eliminate redundant PM work.

But it can take time to connect data from SCADA systems and MQTT brokers, which often have a different structure to what you’re familiar with in MaintainX.

That’s why we launched Smart Tag Mapping, an AI-powered enhancement to our OT Data Connectors for Ignition, Kepware and MQTT, into Beta.

Once your connector is set up, MaintainX automatically recommends mappings between ingested machine tags and your existing assets—complete with suggested meter names, units, and confidence scores.

What this means for you:

  • Faster setup for usage-based and condition-based maintenance
  • Reduced manual configuration
  • The ability to review, adjust, accept, or skip mappings on one screen

Instead of spending hours sorting through raw tag data, you can confirm AI-generated suggestions and start a usage-based or condition-based maintenance program faster.

OT Data Connectors are available on Premium and Enterprise plans for an additional fee.

Roll out faster with self-serve imports for Users and Locations

Whether you’re launching a new site or migrating data from another system, you can now import your data and get teams operational faster.

Admins can now self-import Users and Locations directly into MaintainX using a CSV or Excel file, without relying on support tickets.

To help you import data safely, this feature includes:

  • Validation that flags any errors before your import completes
  • Duplicate detection for User imports
  • A 24-hour rollback option if you need to undo an import

By giving admins more control over data onboarding, we’re saving you time and helping your teams get up and running faster.

Self-Import Users and Locations is available on all plans and requires admin permissions.

This month’s releases are all about helping you scale smarter, standardize faster, and act on better data.
