Remove, weigh, and reinstall one or more of the exterior zinc anodes before starting up the pump

After two months, remove and weigh the same zinc anode or anodes again

Enter the lapsed time in days between the initial and second weighing

Enter the anode weight loss in grams

Calculate the anode consumption rate (days/gram)

Calculate future replacement intervals based on the selected fraction of zinc remaining (0.25–0.50)

Is the unit stored for more than six months?

Inspect the unit with special attention to the seals and the cable entry before operating after storage.

Rotate the impeller/propeller to prevent the seals from sticking together.

Replace key components if necessary
