Ensure all replacement parts are available before disassembly

Inspect pump parts according to pre-assembly topics

Replace any part that does not meet the required criteria

Clean pump parts in solvent to remove oil, grease, and dirt

Protect machined surfaces while cleaning parts

Replace or repair parts as required

Enter leakage rate in drops per minute

Is temperature rise within 20°F (-7°C)?

Back off packing gland nuts or screws

Hand tighten gland against first packing ring

Verify motor bearings require no initial lubrication

Refer to the motor manufacturer's recommendations for lubrication intervals and note them here

Has the motor been lubricated at the factory?

Store in a covered and dry location

Treat bearing and machined surfaces for preservation
