Determine if shorter inspection intervals are needed based on water temperature and chemical composition

Check for the presence of other metals in the vicinity of the pump

Calculate the actual replacement interval based on measured anode consumption rate and selected remaining fraction (0.25–0.50)

Check for water in the oil housing

If the oil contains too much water
