Hold the power tool firmly with one hand when releasing the two fastening levers.

Pull a fastening lever outward and turn it in 45° steps to move the fastening levers over each other.

Loosen both fastening levers with the other hand.

Adjust the desired stroke range.

Tighten both fastening levers again.

Disconnect the power tool from the power supply

Wear eye protection when using compressed air

Connect a residual current device (RCD) on the line side for additional protection

Blow out the interior of the power tool with dry, oil-free compressed air via the ventilation openings

Ensure no conductive dust is present in the interior of the power tool

Avoid using pointed metal objects to clean ventilation openings

Avoid using the following cleaning agents and solvents

Adjusting the Drill Stand Position

Release the fine-adjustment clamping lever

Tighten the clamping lever again

Secure the power tool with the safety strap

Pull the power plug before mounting or replacing cutting tool or accessories

Insert the pilot pin into the cutter

Pull the clamping sleeve of the tool holder down

Insert the core drill bit with the centering pin into the tool holder

Avoid touching the sharp edges of the core drill bit

Ensure maintenance is carried out only by qualified personnel

Verify cables and components are correctly mounted to prevent injuries

Service must be carried out only through an authorized Fein repair facility

Caution on Replacing Protective Cable Bushing or Cord

Ensure replacement of protective cable bushing or cord is done by Fein or an authorized Fein Service Agent
