Press the TEST button on the face of the receptacle

Did the receptacle trip and open?

Is the GFCI receptacle properly grounded?

Is the power line phasing correct?

Repair ground wire connections as needed

Correct the line phasing if necessary

Motor and Jack Bolt Preparation

Loosen the four motor mounting nuts that attach the motor to the blower rail.

Loosen the two jack bolt locking nuts beneath the motor mounting plate.

Turn the jack bolt locking nut counterclockwise to loosen.

Turn the jack bolts counterclockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten.

Adjust the V−belt for proper tension.

Ensure the fan shaft and motor shaft are parallel before tightening the motor mount nuts.

Check the following components for proper condition and cleanliness

Measure the gas manifold pressure

Record the heating temperature rise

Check the tightness of mounting bolts

Verify condenser fan blade positioning

Inspect control box cleanliness and wiring condition

Measure refrigerant charge level

Record evaporator blower motor amperage

Turn off all electrical power to the unit

Use approved lockout/tagout procedures on all electrical power sources

Remove the cover on the motor connection box

Disconnect all electrical leads to the motor

Loosen the two jack bolt jamnuts on the motor mounting bracket

Turn the two jack bolts counterclockwise until the motor assembly moves closer to the blower pulley

Remove the V-belt from the blower pulley and motor pulley

Loosen the four mounting bracket bolts and lock washers

Remove four bolts, four flat washers, four lock washers and four nuts attaching the motor mounting plate to the unit
