Burner Cleaning
Cleaning and Adjustment
Remove the burner rack from the unit as described in the Removal and Replacement of Gas Train section.
Inspect the burners for dirt and remove them from the rack if necessary.
Mark each burner to identify its position before removing from the rack.
Use a soft brush to clean the burners and cross−over port as required.
Adjust the spark gap to 0.12 – 0.14′′ (3.06 – 3.60 mm) and ensure it is spaced 0.18′′ (4.60 mm) from the end of the burner.
Has the factory orifice been removed?
Check that each orifice is tight at its threads into the manifold pipe and the orifice projection does not exceed the maximum valve.
Reinstall burners on rack in the same locations as they were installed at the factory.
Unit Check
Preparation
Shut off all electrical power supply to the unit and install a lockout tag.
Close the manual gas shutoff valve located on the gas supply line.
Pressure Measurement Setup
Remove the manifold pressure tap plug from the manifold and connect a pressure gauge or manometer.
Turn on the electrical supply.
Open the manual shutoff valve, then turn on the unit main gas valve.
High Stage Heat Operation
Set the room thermostat to call for heat.
1 Monthly Evoporator Coil Cleaning
Safety Precautions
Wear safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing during mixing and application.
Surface Loaded Fibers Removal
Remove surface loaded fibers or dirt using one of the following methods
Apply the tool in the direction of the fins to avoid damage.
Routine Cleaning of Evaporator Coil Surfaces
Wet finned surfaces with clean water using a low velocity garden hose.
Mix Totaline environmentally sound coil cleaner in a 2−1/2 gallon garden sprayer according to instructions.
Ensure solution temperature is 100F (38C).
Filter Drier Replacement
Recover all refrigerant from the system using a Puron (R410) gauge set
Remove the filter drier from the line using a tubing cutter
Sweat a new replacement filter drier into the refrigerant line
Re-charge the refrigerant system
Verify that the refrigerant system is operating correctly
Check for any refrigerant leaks
Dispose of the old filter drier according to environmental regulations
SD−TRK4 Remote Alarm Test
Alarm Test Procedure
Turn the key switch to the RESET/TEST position for seven seconds
Verify that the test/reset station’s Alarm LED turns on
Sensor Reset Procedure
Reset the sensor by turning the key switch to the RESET/TEST position for two seconds
Verify that the test/reset station’s Alarm LED turns off
