Xylem Pump HL130M

Remove battery cables from terminals and tie them together

Drain engine oil and remove old oil filter

Write current engine hour meter value on the new filter

Drain oil from diesel engine within acoustic enclosure without oil pan drain

Disconnect oil return pipe from base of air compressor

Attach pipe to bottom of sump pump

Operate pump until engine sump is drained

Reconnect oil return pipe to air compressor

Refill with the correct grade of oil

Check for any oil leaks after refilling

Ensure the gearbox is operating smoothly without unusual noises

Record any observations or issues encountered during maintenance

Verify that the motor is powered off and all power sources are removed

Check that the interior and exterior of the motor is free of dirt, oil, grease, water, and other matter

Check all combinations phase to phase with a continuity meter

Measure the motor winding insulation resistance of each phase with a mega-ohm meter

Record the readings of the motor winding insulation resistance

Ensure that all electrical connectors are in place and secured

Refer to Technical Reference on page 49 for recommended vacuum pump oil

Exhaust Smoke Eliminator Filter Replacement

Enter the back pressure reading in psi

Is the back pressure more than 3 psi above the nominal running pressure?

Change the exhaust smoke eliminator filter if necessary

Refer to the service manual for smoke eliminator filter replacement instructions
