Wear safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing during mixing and application.

Remove surface loaded fibers or dirt using one of the following methods

Ensure the tool is applied in the direction of the fins to avoid damage.

Routine Cleaning of Evaporator Coil Surfaces

Wet finned surfaces with clean water using a low velocity garden hose.

Mix Totaline coil cleaner in a 2−1/2 gallon garden sprayer at 100F (38C).

Apply Totaline coil cleaner solution to all coil surfaces, including finned area, tube sheets, and coil headers.

Press the controller’s test/reset switch for two seconds

Verify that the controller’s Trouble LED flashes

Remove the burner rack from the unit as described in the Removal and Replacement of Gas Train section.

Inspect the burners for dirt and remove them from the rack if necessary.

Mark each burner to identify its position before removing from the rack.

Use a soft brush to clean the burners and cross−over port as required.

Adjust the spark gap to 0.12 – 0.14′′ (3.06 – 3.60 mm) and ensure it is spaced 0.18′′ (4.60 mm) from the end of the burner.

Check if the factory orifice has been removed.

Ensure each orifice is tight at its threads into the manifold pipe and the orifice projection does not exceed the maximum valve.

Reinstall burners on rack in the same locations as they were installed at the factory.

Ensure the replacement belt is of the same section type or similar size.

Confirm that the replacement belt is not a 'FHP' or notched type V-belt.

Loosen the motor mounting plate front bolts by turning counterclockwise.

Loosen the motor mounting plate rear bolts by turning counterclockwise.

Loosen the jack bolt lock nuts by turning counterclockwise.

Loosen the jack bolts to relieve belt tension.

Hold the test magnet where indicated on the side of the sensor housing for two seconds

Verify that the sensor’s Dirty LED flashes
