Check the collection tank for the build-up of sediment and clean as necessary.

Check the level of the bund tank.

Drain the bund tank if it is full before further operations.

Has the compressor been in operation recently?

Allow the compressor to cool if it was recently in operation

Fill the oil sump with a replacement lubricant

Verify that the motor is powered off and all power sources are removed

Check that the interior and exterior of the motor is free of dirt, oil, grease, water, and other matter

Check all combinations phase to phase with a continuity meter

Measure the motor winding insulation resistance of each phase with a mega-ohm meter

Record the motor winding insulation resistance readings on a service log

Ensure that all electrical connectors are in place and secured

Record the serviced items and operation hours in a service log

Contact your local Xylem office if any variance of 10% or greater is found in phase to phase continuity

Contact a licensed electrician if any mega-ohm reading is below 20MΩ

Is there any damage to the wheels?

If wheels are damaged, check for damage

Check and tighten wheel nuts or bolts as necessary

Check connection to towing vehicle

Check for the feed of oil through the sight glass
