Condenser-Fan Adjusting
Preparation
Shut off the unit power supply
Apply the appropriate lockout/tagout procedures
Fan Assembly Removal
Remove the condenser-fan assembly (grille, motor, and fan)
Fan Adjustment
Loosen the fan hub setscrews
Adjust the fan height
Tighten the setscrews
Dirty Controller Test
Press the controller’s test/reset switch for two seconds
Verify that the controller’s Trouble LED flashes
Belt Tension Adjusting
Loosening Components
Loosen the four motor mounting nuts that attach the motor to the blower rail.
Loosen the two jack bolt locking nuts beneath the motor mounting plate.
Turn the jack bolt locking nut counterclockwise to loosen.
Adjusting Belt Tension
Turn the jack bolts counterclockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten.
Adjust the V−belt for proper tension.
Alignment and Tightening
Ensure the fan shaft and motor shaft are parallel before tightening the motor mount nuts.
Controller Alarm Test
Controller Alarm Test Procedure
Press the controller’s test/reset switch for seven seconds.
Verify that the controller’s Alarm LED turns on.
Reset the sensor by pressing the test/reset switch for two seconds.
Verify that the controller’s Alarm LED turns off.
Post-Test Verification
Ensure all alarms are cleared.
Confirm that the system is back to normal operation.

Gas Train Replacement
Preparation
Shut off the gas using the manual shutoff switch located in the gas supply line.
Turn the gas valve ON/OFF knob to the OFF position.
Shut off power to the unit and install a lockout tag.
Disconnection
Disconnect the gas piping at the unit gas valve.
Remove the wires connected to the gas valve and mark each wire to assist in reconnecting power to the gas valve.
Remove the igniter wires and sensor wires at the Integrated Gas Unit Controller (IGC).
