Select the tool used for removing surface loaded fibers

Was the tool applied in the direction of the fins?

Routine Cleaning of Evaporator Coil Surfaces

Wear proper protection such as safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing

Remove all surface loaded fibers and dirt with a vacuum cleaner

Thoroughly wet finned surfaces with clean water and a low velocity garden hose

Mix Totaline coil cleaner in a 2−1/2 gallon garden sprayer at 100F (38C)

Was the water temperature kept below 130F (54C)?

Turn the key switch to the RESET/TEST position for seven seconds.

Verify that the test/reset station’s Alarm LED turns on.

Reset the sensor by turning the key switch to the RESET/TEST position for two seconds.

Verify that the test/reset station’s Alarm LED turns off.

Shut off all electrical power supply to the unit and install a lockout tag.

Close the manual gas shutoff valve located on the gas supply line.

Remove the manifold pressure tap plug from the manifold and connect a pressure gauge or manometer.

Open the manual shutoff valve, then turn on the unit main gas valve.

Set the room thermostat to call for heat.

Disconnect power from the duct detector

Remove loose dirt and debris using one of the following methods

Use isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to clean the gasket on the sensor’s cover

Squeeze the retainer clips on both sides of the optic housing

Lift the housing away from the printed circuit board

Press the TEST button on the face of the receptacle

Did the receptacle trip and open?

Is the GFCI receptacle properly grounded?

Is the power line phasing correct?

Repair ground wire connections as needed
