Carbon Brush Holder / Carbon Brush Assembly

Position the two connectors

Position brush holders

Secure brush holders with the two screws

Slide the two carbon brushes into brush holders and connect to appropriate connector

Place spring on carbon brush

Connect cables to distributors

Run this procedure

Stator Assembly

Cable and Field Coil Installation

Connect connecting cables to stator as shown in illustration.

Insert cables into field coil.

Insert field coil in motor housing ensuring ID number of the stator is on the same side as the switch.

Cable Management and Securing

Using hook, pull cables out of stator.

Screw in the two screws to secure the stator

Final Assembly

Insert air guide ring.

Carbon Brush Disassembly

Spring and Carbon Brush Removal

Raise spring and lift into cut-out

Disconnect and remove carbon brushes on both sides

Carbon Holder and Connector Removal

Unscrew the two screws and remove carbon holder

Pull off cables and remove the two connectors

Housing Disassembly

Initial Disassembly

Unscrew two screws (1)

Remove stator (2) from housing

Remove the control rod (3)

Component Removal

Remove slide switch (1)

Remove contact spring (2)

Pull connecting cables (3) off stator

Run this procedure

Electronic Disassembly

Initial Disassembly

Remove the screws and cover

Unscrew screw (3) and remove cable clamping piece

Electronics Removal

Remove electronics (4) from motor housing

Disconnect screw connections (5) between motor and electronics

Final Disassembly

Open screws and remove cable with plug
