Ensure all cleaning tools are available

Turn off the valve before cleaning

Refer to the ‘Service’ menu for spare parts kit order number

Read the safety information and specifications in the 'Storage, Transport and Unpacking' chapter.

Disconnect the pump from the mains power supply.

Ensure the pump cannot be switched on by unauthorized persons.

Ensure the system is at atmospheric pressure before working on hydraulic parts.

Are original spare parts being used?

Is the correct spare parts kit being used?

Read the safety information and specifications in the 'Storage, Transport and Unpacking' chapter.

Disconnect the pump from the mains power supply and ensure it cannot be switched on by unauthorized persons.

Ensure the system is at atmospheric pressure before commencing work on hydraulic parts.

Inspection of Hydraulic Components

Check that all hydraulic lines and components are secure and leak-tight

Is the flow correct after pressing [Priming]?

Electrical and Structural Integrity Check

Check the integrity of electrical and structural components

Enter the order no. (part number) of the diaphragm or spare parts kit

Take protective measures, if necessary

Note the material safety data sheet for the feed chemical

Prevent the escape of feed chemical

Ensure that the system is at atmospheric pressure

Turn the liquid end upside down and allow the feed chemical to run out

Flush out with a suitable medium

Replace the liquid end diaphragm

Unscrew the diaphragm rupture indicator using an AF 14 open-ended spanner

Clean the diaphragm rupture indicator with suitable liquid, preferably water (polysulphone material)

Fully immerse the tapered section at the front of the diaphragm rupture indicator in water

Does the continuous display indicate a diaphragm rupture?
