WARNING! Observe the instructions from instructions for use of the bed before, during and after each steam cleaning!

Disconnect bed from the mains before each steam cleaning.

Ensure the bed is tempered to ambient temperature to prevent redundant condensate.

Is the steam cleaner intended for medical devices?

Set the temperature parameter on the control panel of the steam cleaner (Max: 90°C).

Set the pressure parameter on the control panel of the steam cleaner (Max: 5 bars).

WARNING!: Risk of injury due to incorrect safety technical checks!

Ensure that safety technical checks are performed exclusively by manufacturer´s customer service or by authorised service personnel certified by the manufacturer.

Ensure that the safety technical checks are recorded in the service and maintenance log.

Perform safety technical check of the medical bed as per EN 62353:2014 guidelines.

Is the safety technical check performed within the last 12 months?

Request service documentation from the manufacturer if needed (e.g. circuit diagrams, component part lists, descriptions, calibration instructions etc.).

Ensure all adjustment functions are locked before cleaning.

Disconnect the bed from the mains during the cleaning process.

Ensure cleaning is performed by trained personnel.

Drive the bed to the cleaning area and apply brakes.

Position the mattress platform, backrest, and thighrest to their highest positions for accessibility.

Lock all adjustment functions of the bed.

Check if all connectors are properly fixed.

Ensure the bed is disconnected from the mains power

Check for any defects in the bed

Is maintenance being performed by authorized personnel?

Disconnect the bed from the mains

Pack or cover the bed and accessories

Ensure storage conditions are the same as the operating conditions
